Another loooooooong day... ;)

And in the OSS lounge again - 'nuff said about that!

Well things started relatively early waking up in the lounge again at about 11am - only to suddenly be reminded by Kevin that i was supposed to be back home in an hour to pick up the new house keys before he left the country! Amazingly i made it as far as the shopping center near my place within the space of 55 minutes through a combination of buses, trains and footwork (amazing given that it usually takes me 2 hours to get to uni from my place). Managed to get the key from him (just!) and wish him and Polly all the best for their upcoming grand wedding - and to remind them to bring back some freeze dried char kueh teow! ;)

Woot! Got the whole house to myself now! :p

Downside? No dogs... :(

Anyhow, just when i thought that i could take a relaxing shower, cook and grab a few more hours of badly needed sleep Chen Hoe calls me up to remind me that i'm the scrutineer for the MUISS elections - and that i had to be in Clayton for the vote counting in exactly 40 minutes! ARRRGH! *cue more frenzied public transport planning and footwork* It was worth it though as i got to see the ECHO team winning by a landslide...

Things finally started to relax for me when i set foot on my campus at about 4pm where i had coffee with Alex and followed it up with some LAN gaming (C&C rocks! Can't wait for the expansion). At this point i felt a bit exhausted and retired to the lounge to chat with some of the guys about the crucial meeting tommorow *fingers crossed*. And here i am now (fresh from a 2 hour nap) with Jason and Jeremy to keep me company through the night...

I hate assignments... >.<

Been thinking about this semester and am coming around to the realisation that i'd much rather be doing a degree in International Relations or Military History... maybe the army will give me that chance? Then again it could just be a waste of time... Decisions, decisions... The weird part is my realisation that i never really thought about all this BEFORE i started uni... *urgh* My life is such a mess right now... :(

Did i mention that i'm planning to go to Sydney and Brisbane after exams? Ah, that old wanderlust is acting up again... :)

Hmmm... might also get to Perth for the Fencing Intervarsity Games in the first week of December (if i can afford it! Already qualified for the team, yeah!)...

I'll leave it at that...
