A retreat for the well-being of my mind from the insanity of the life that is mine.

Hmmm... another late blog...

Once again i'm in the OSS lounge *silent scream* with my ever faithful compatriot Jason keeping me company and another empty word document staring me in the face :(

Deja Vu? An attachment that's a little too deep to the OSS lounge? Lacking a social life?

Probably all of the above... ;)

Its at times like these when i think that i really need a goal/motivation/girlfriend...

I can't remember a single thing from Monday itself so i won't even try - although i vaguely recall waking in the lounge at some odd hour only to see the sun go down (again), talking incoherently to my fellow OSS members, falling asleep on the train home, arriving in Cranbourne, cursing, doubling back, finally arriving home and collapsing in my bed. And then waking at 3am to have the entire process begin again... See? Not even worth mentioning! ;)

Today was a tad more memorably different what with me, for once, actually being on Clayton campus for most of the day. It started in the morning with me rushing to Clayton to meet Jason who was going for his first appointment with the anger-management shrink. Which was scheduled for 11am. And to which we arrived at approximately 12:15am *groan*. The shrink recommended that Jason see her alone so i waited outside for an hour, digesting page after page of various DIY cooking maagazines. I swear that my patience could put Buddha to shame... ;p

On the bright side, everything went smoothly for Jason AND i got inspired to try some cooking while my cousins are away for the next two weeks. Hopefully disaster will not ensue as quickly as my previous attempt at cullinary godliness (i will never forget my Mousse au Chocolat which ended up as an upside down mudcake - nor will anyone else who ate it!).

Helped out at the elections at MUISS today and managed to talk to Chen Hoe for a bit as well as mingling with the locals down there - things seem to be going well for their 'old guard' ECHO party since i could not spot a single (aptly named) 'Revolution' party promoter in the entire vicinity... Well, at least something's going right for some people!

Spent the rest of the day at Caulfield resting my aching bones although i did go to a superbly organised AGM of my fencing club in the evening (hmmm... my ISO could learn a thing or two from these guys! Must be the 'sword discipline' or something). Went for some coffee with Megha and her friend Peter who works with her at the local Subway, played some LAN games, had more coffee and then went to work in the lounge.

Hmmm... i see a trend developing: Wake in afternoon, mope around, have coffee, do sports, have more coffee, end up in OSS lounge... My life in a (very small) nutshell. Geez i can't wait for the holiday next week - planning to go camping and hiking over the weekend with Alex and whoever else may wish to join us in our quest to ground ourselves after an exhausting three weeks of uni(any takers?).

That and everyone's reminding me to plan my upcoming birthday! I don't know why but i truly only want to have a nice quiet dinner, with wine and some decent jazz... such is my plan every year but it always ends up as the most debauched party on earth with me doing something embarassing enough to burn the incident in the eternal memory (and flash strobe) of every participant...

So much for a career in politics! ;)

Wasted most of tonight on a new addiction - Friendster! All thanks to one (very small) individual - you know who you are!

AAAARRRGGGHHH!!! As if i needed another hobby! :p

A warning to all: Expect an invitation email soon!!! Hey, when i go into something at least i go all the way! (no sexual connotation intended you dirty bastards!).

Whoooo... feeling a bit... mellow (and light-headed) right now... but the assignment MUST prevail! That and my cousins are leaving tommorow for their wedding in KL (relax Kev! Try and enjoy yourself!) but have changed the locks so i have to rush back home by 11am in the morning. No 'Pat' nap for me tonight... :(

*yawn* Getting really tired of this. I swear, the last few assignments are quite possibly the WORST ones i have ever written...
