Lousy day. Again.

Well, was not able to finish the assignment, which is starting to piss me off to no end now, so am working on it tonight as well as my System Security assignment which is due soon as well... *urgh* It never ends...

Managed to get a quick game of table tennis today against Moshe (kicked yo ass man!) to try and relieve my stress (along with staring at these pics - no words needed) and nabbed a few precious hours of sleep at home (oh lordy, i'm starting to sleep in the afternoons again). Other than that i've been working on the assignment... all day... and night. Funny, it never seemed this hard before. :(

Well, had the meeting today with Jason and the counsellor. It did not go as well as i hoped it would, and i'd just like to draw peoples attention to the fact that it seemed like instead of being a counsellor she seemed more like a one woman lynch mob! If anything needs reforming around here its our counselling services! That, and the fact that it was brought up that the case has been brought before the universty proper and will be looked into by the Investigations Officer - which leads to the sad fact that Jason might be put in front of his faculty's committee for just voicing out his opinions on the state of things. I mean, sure we had the Monash shooting last year but even this seems a bit over the top for a guy who wrote a somewhat (yes i admit) crass letter - i mean those who know him, like myself and the people he directed it to, acknowledge the fact that he is a bit of a hothead with his words at times but that he wouldn't hurt a fly. Adding on top of this the fact that the people he was 'threatening' did not even physically appear to try and verbally sort out this mess BEFORE the letter was sent out but instead took what was supposed to be a personal letter to the university authorities does not, in my eyes, help their case either. What kind of leader are you trying to be if all you do is go whinging to your superior at the first sign of any trouble??? I just cannot believe that Jason may have to face academic implications for what he has done...

Need to resolve this - and fast... And to think i'm supposed to be retired.

Did i mention that i didn't get the NUS position? Man, i don't even want to get into that, but i'm starting to get really annoyed at the degree of nepotism prevalent in my union year after year...

Anyhow, the only bright spark in my day was probably... nah, i'm not gonna say it *grin* - but one of my (incredibly complex as always) plans seems to be finally bearing some fruit (or at least i think it was as a direct consequence of what i planned). Now i only have to try and resolve the battle between the left and right sides of my brain in regards to this matter of the heart... Now that i have an opportunity should i pursue it or not?

In other weird news the city of Mostar in war-torn Bosnia is looking to none other than Bruce Lee to unite their city and nation (wtf? You gotta read this).

Mmmm... naughty food items. Tangy Tit Bits? Sounds delicious... ;p
