Ok ok... its time to use this blog again...

Hmmm... spending a lot of time all by my lonesome these days and i have no real idea why i'm so isolationist all of a sudden. And bored. VERY bored.

Damn exams. Damn conference.

For the last three days i've been going to uni at 9am, checking my mail and all that, and then vanishing to the city for hours on end. It seems like i'm always at Cookie's Cafe (on Swanston) from about 12-3pm, sipping a cappucino, smoking, staring out from the balcony, humming the tune of a song long gone, listening to some jazz and watching the world go by. So if you're around at that time look me up - i could do with some company. On the bright side i'm getting quite a bit of work done there and have even taken up writing poetry... Seems like all the waiters are used to me now and i suspect they think that i'm some sort of writer. On the other hand they've pretty much reserved a table for me these days, along with the occasional free cup of coffee and conversation... nothing quite like being a regular eh? ;)

I also seem to have a disturbing habit of talking to myself a lot these days (in French strangely enough)... hrm, the tender whispers of madness... ;)

*sigh* Why do i feel forgotten?

Anyhow, finally fixed my watch yesterday during one of my many strolls - meaningful in that it was given by my ex and stopped when we broke up. Always took it as a sign and i've been wearing it like that for almost a year now... not that i'm superstitious (i think) - i suspect that laziness had a bigger hand in that... ;)

Also ended up at Federation Square in the late afternoon doing some 'Go-Go' dancing on the stage with about a hundered other people, and then ended up in the anti-war protest at the same location. I got to wave a red flag around and got a 'Workers Unite' badge for my troubles... ;)

Then went down to Dizzy's Jazz Bar in Richmond for their Big Band Night and a glass of Shiraz as usual. As always, it was relaxing but strangely very empty that night (its usually packed to the brim) - hmmm... a recurring theme in my life right now? :(

And that's it, although a big kudos to Janice for giving me some company on the phone in the evening - you really should come down lah, at least gimme some company!!! ;)

Hmmm... looks like more of the same today - although i think i'll spend some time checking out the free Arts Festival shows around the city. I seriously have too much spare time to myself... and i can almost taste that cappucino right now...
