'Fear is the tax that the conscience pays to guilt.' - Sewell0 commentsMood: *groan* Currently listening to: Les Nuits - Nightmares On Wax Shit, i have an exam in eight and a half hours... Going to keep this post really short since i have more desperate things to do... It's amazing how a paper which you thought was easy and which you felt you were prepared for can suddenly instill fear into you when you become a member of a study group! Damn those paranoia prone retards to hell for having their anxieties rub off on me!!! *silent scream* Anyway, spent the day studying in the OSS lounge as usual and having lunch with my ma. Saw the doctor and there's nothing life-threatening in my head or blood, which is good (obviously). She wanted me to defer my exams but... nah, i've never missed an exam in my life and i'm not going to start now. She did force me to take special consideration for all three exams though (ah well, it can only do me good right?). Tried to study a bit more after that but got too distracted by Abe taking over the computer and chatting to his lady love (admit it! You're in love!!!). Went to the city with Chen Hoe to meet up with Chai for another round of NUS dicussions with Konrad and Ravi. Well, its progress and a decision has been made ( a good one too in my honest opinion - hopefully we'll be able to maintain this). More coffee at RMIT followed as we three BOBs settled down for a lengthy session of 'shop talk'... jeez, don't think my bladder can take too many more of these meetings... ;p Came home and had a La Porchetta original pizza which my ma brought back from her dinner with my cousins (mmm... i LOVE that pizza). Read a bit on the NLC NSW problem which Tedy has posted up (as a timeline no less - its gotten that complex). Interesting reading because it seems like yet another apt lesson in the way student organisations are run - without trust, without an eye to moving on for the greater good, the extreme use of a constitution (and i mean on either end), and the lack of courage on either side to find some valid middle ground to just MOVE ON. Points of contention be damned, just get the damn job done! Don't think i'm being very coolly analytical right now because of the rising panic i feel for tommorow's exam and the need to get this blog out of the way, but if you want to read the timeline you can find it here (WARNING! For the uninitiated this is an NLC document - and a LONG one too. Not to mention frustrating to read). Crap. Strange days again... had a dream (again) last night where i was at my own funeral. I'm quite sure its from an airplane crash or somesuch because there's no body/coffin/urn, just a damn big picture of me... and in a church no less *groan* (despite my express wishes i suppose) Let me clarify. People! If i die, do NOT put me in a church! Have a wake but no priests!!! Just say what you have to say, and if my body is around i opt for cremation - and i don't really care as to what you do with the ashes. There. That should avoid any confusion in future. ;p And aside from that i've gotten deja vu three times today... maybe i'm just starting to go nuts again? Time to pull a Renee... Study Patriiiiiiiiiccccccccckkkkkkkk!!! ;p
