Well the exam went pretty well - considering that i was studying the wrong subject until 1am the night before the exam!!! (Grrr... that makes it the second time that this has happened to me, damn Information System subjects and their similar codes) On the bright side this means that i've pretty much studied for the next one... ;)

Well, didn't do too much today after that aside from some coffee (another BEAUTIFUL Melbourne day!), LAN gaming and watching Matrix Revolutions - sorry Janice! I couldn't resist! I'll watch again with you in Canberra ok? Just as well that i went because i managed to snag two free tickets to a special preview of Mystic River on Thursday night (which i can't even go to because of my exam the next day! Anyone want them?).

Well, i thought Matrix Reloaded was pretty all right... not too sure why the critics have been panning it so badly (and i've paid for worse... Buffalo Soldiers for example). Thought it was a little more straightforward plotwise this time around with most of the lose ends being tied up, with a pretty cool (if somewhat cliched) 'last stand' scene, but a little too many religious undercurrents what with Neo being Jesus and everything... Still, all in all not too bad an effort - i give it a 7/10 on the 'Patometer'... ;)

Trying to get my holiday plans for this year and the next together at the moment. Planning to go to Canberra on the 18th Nov for two nights and then down to Sydney on the 20th November for a week or more and then its back to Melbourne in time to pack and leave for good back to KL on the 10th of December. Brisbane has, unfortunately, been scratched from my travel agenda for the moment although i am planning to go there in time for the next NLCAC (hehe, thought you could get rid of me that easily?) and Melbourne again for a two/three week summer vacation. So if you're going to be in any of these places (including KL) during these times look me up! ;)

Oh yeah, will not be in KL sometime in early January as i'll be going down to Singapore for my annual week-long visit with a few brothers in arms to visit some of my old kamaraden who have migrated down south... which usually involves a lot of clubbing and drinking! *grin*

Hrmmm... other things i have to do for the week - see the shrink tommorow, check up with the doc on Thursday and dye my hair on Friday after the exam. Yup! Full head... Was originally thinking of just highlights but my hair is now too short! Not sure what colour i should do just yet (hey, if you have any opinions let me know) but it's to help my friend do her hairdressing exam. Those of you on Friendster should have seen that bulletin post asking for volunteers... ;p

Ah yes, the cemetary plan - that's been postponed until after my mother leaves on Sunday... ;)

In other news me, Jason, Lillian (the hairdressing girl) and Caroline just might be going to a goth club called The Sin Bin this Saturday night in full regalia and it should be a pretty awesome experience - hopefully nothing will postpone this for the third time *urgh*. If you're interested in tagging along just give me a holler during the week...

Oh, and did any of you know that i actually used to collect cow memorablia? ;)

McDonalds balks at 'McJobs' entry - according to the latest Merriam-Webster's dictionary the term 'McJob' is defined as 'low-paying and dead end work' (ain't THAT the truth!). McDonalds is of course unhappy about this but as Rotten.com put it: "Tough shit, pal. It's been in the lexicon for years. Anyway, if the U.S. Postal Service can endure "snailmail" you can certainly live with "McJob."
