Mood: I'm on holiday! YEAH!

Busy last two days what with all the packing i have to do before i go... YES! I can't believe that i'm finally on holiday now! WOOT! ;p

Let's see... Friday... Well, the exam went well, i even managed to leave 30 minutes before its scheduled conclusion - always a good sign (i think)! It was damn hot that day (30+ degrees! Whew...) so i went to the city after with Taufiq, Jason and Abe for a beer just before my hair appointment. It went all right, although i took a lot longer than i expected, three hours to be exact, and i have to honestly say that i really don't see too much of a difference - as compared to Abe who i feel had a really good job done on him... Dammit! Should have gone for the bright purple!!! ARGH!!! Funniest part was that since it's a hair college we had to sign disclaimer forms for '...any side effects which the chemicals might cause on our scalp or hair(!)...". That, and the fact that almost every male hairdresser there is gay and they were all hitting on Abe (lol!). As for the result its my own fault i guess since the professional guy there said my hair was too thin and fragile for them to do anything overly excessive with it - that's what you get for eating 300 packets of Indo Mie in one semester! :(

Had to go to Box Hill after that and that's when the day started getting surreal again... Three things happened:

1) I fell asleep on the train and was woken up by this business woman sitting opposite me who told me that this was my stop. I gave her my thanks and got out of the train only to wonder how the hell she knew that i was getting off at Box Hill!!?? Weird... she wasn't even there when we left Flinders St...

2) As i was going through the ticket machine this old caucasian man with a beard, dressed pretty respectably, comes smiling up to me and saying how he hadn't seen me in such a long time, how have i been, am i going back to KL for the holidays, how he wishes he could talk more but he's got to rush and that he'll give me a call sometime... Who the hell is he??? Ever get that feeling that you're still in a dream but you aren't? Last time i sleep on a train...

3) And that wasn't all - as i walking through the shopping centre looking for the toilet i passed by one of those raffle tables - you know, the ones which are trying to raise money for various footy teams - and the woman there was packing up. As i'm passing by she touches my shoulder and gives me one of the tickets free of charge. She then picks up her stuff, wishes me a good day and as she's walking off she says, "Oh and by the way, the toilets are straight up and to the left." I didn't ask her about that!!! Freaky - especially after i checked my pants to make sure there weren't any tell-tale signs of you-know-what... I am never going to Box Hill again.

Anyhow had dinner with my mother and family after that... mmmm... crabs... Still, weird day huh?

Saturday, nothing much to report... more hot weather, more beer in the city at Cookie with Abe and Jason and then some LAN gaming with Alex... we were supposed to go mini-golfing but damn... it was just too hot for that! Otherwise, more packing with my ma...

And well, today seems like a pretty relaxed day... had to organise some stuff with my ma before she leaves tonight but managed to come to the OSS lounge again in order to meet up with Jason and Alex. We've got a dinner to attend with Julian's girlfriend Joa-Quim coming down from KL... should be good as almost everyone i know will be there at La Porchetta on Chapel and it'll be another cool little reunion. Going to be a bit hectic though as i'll have to immediately dash to Smith St. to meet my ma and cousins at Old Kingdom (best peking duck - EVER!) in order to escort her to the airport... hehe, eating so much these days so had to lift my daily exercise regime to 50 pushups and 100 sit ups in order to compensate! Still no six pack or noticeable difference though... *sigh*

Well, Abe has booked our tickets and we'll be arriving in Canberra at 4am (!!!) on the 19th and then arriving in Sydney on the night of the 20th... It's finally happening! Maaaan, i can't wait - i'm gonna have a ball of a time! ;)

Shit, gotta end this now, need to call Chen Hoe about the meeting tommorow morning with the Department of Education et al...
