Mood: Great!

Not much happened yesterday... me and Abe had to leave the NOMADS hostel at 10am but we dragged our lazy asses out of there one hour late and incurred a loss of our $40 deposit (ouchie!)... Abe was pretty pissed about it and he passed most of the time arguing incessantly with the manager. Still, it wasn't like we had anything to do since we had to wait for Joleen to arrive in Sydney so that we could move in with her, and we couldn't exactly get far with the 40+ kg worth of bags between us.

Anyhow, we met up with Joleen who's here for a concert by the Big Furry Men (or something like that - they're a Welsh group) and she's a real fanatic about them since she hasn't missed a single performance... Anyways, we move in with her at this really nice penthouse suite thing next to Hyde Park... seems so surreal - one day we're in a dodgy motel with maniacs beating their wives next door, then into a shared four man dorm in a youth hostel, and now its a penthouse with room service... Didn't do much that day. Tried to work on my NLC stuff but the laptop is stuffing up majorly, while Abe went down to the concert with Joleen (who came back with a piece of celery which was given to her by an admirer... hrmmm...).

After a night on the couch which was strangely refreshing, Joleen went shopping while me and Abe went down to Bondi Beach since the weather has become so much better... GREAT BEACH MAN! Made all the previous pain worthwhile as we tanned ourselves there, admired the beach babes who were tanning themselves sans bra, had some falafels, and then the obligatory ice cream... Yeah, that was good... ;)

Back in the city now and i'm wondering what i should do since Abe might be heading off soon for Melbourne... Hrmm, maybe i should look up more friends? On the bright side Joleen is staying for two more nights so accomodation isn't too much of a problem at the moment (although my cash is - argh!). We might go down to Oxford Street tonight again as well...

Weird, i remember i was supposed to type a lot of stuff here but i just can't remember what it was!!! ARGH! Hopefully the photos will remind me... Oh yeah, check out my new friendster pic if you wanna see what me and Abe got up to a few nights back... ;p
