Where's the chaos?

Mood: Wistful and tired...
Currently listening to: Rest in Pieces - Saliva

Uni again, followed by some ranting to myself for a few hours, some gym, shopping with my ma, and then dinner at Mr. Ho's with my parents in the evening.

Yeah - routine. :(

Dammit where's the spark, the adventure, the fire???

Hrmmm... on the other hand life IS cozy up here... Was looking out at KL city from the balcony just now since the rain has stopped - everything looks so crisp, clear, and cool what with the large layers of mist covering the various patches of jungles between the highways and the dramatic clouds illuminated by the lights of the various towers... Geez, i really do take this magnificent view for granted sometimes... Hrmm... also getting an itch to paint this whole scene... ;)

Well doing some ICQ chatting with Jason right now who has informed me that Caulfield is in the midst of a makeover with new hostels springing up as well as a new KFC, Gloria Jean's, and 7 Eleven springing up around the campus (about damn time too!) - that and apparently the latest influx of new students (particularly of the female variety) deserve an A+... ;)

Talked to my father over dinner as well and he's interested in me coming to work for the group that he is currently working for. Well, i figure that since i don't have any direction (or more specifically, purpose in life) at the moment it doesn't sound like such a bad idea although ideally i would rather be working on my own for a bit at first... but, still, its a golden opportunity and he made an offer that i can't refuse (or reveal unfortunately). Seems that the plan - unless i come up with something better or more purposeful along the way - involves me graduating, then working with his oldtime friend Eric Bijouie (i think i spelt that correctly) in his Risk Management company, probably under field work in the South East Asian region in order to get some experience. This would then be followed by me joining my dad's group and, as part of some gigantic project, being assigned to either Manila, KL, or Armenia for that moment in time (hehehe, and can you guess which one i'm wanting to go to? I happen to miss the snow... ;p).

Well, any plan is better than none at all i guess... Dammit, i really envy those guys who have got a dream to chase! Like Zamil with his singing, or my brother Paul with his drums (and Berkley in the near future) - its easier to plot a course, no matter how difficult, to a place where you want to be than wandering around aimlessly with no overarching goal or destination in sight... *sigh*

Anyways, gonna hit the sack early for once - g'nite all! ;)
