Couldn't think of a title for this post so i just put down the first thing that popped into my head. Says a lot about me, eh? ;p

Time for a quick recap of what's been happening over the weekend i suppose...

Friday: Nothing. Nada. Zilch. Watched The Girl Next Door on VCD though...

Saturday: Went for the start of my French lessons at the Alliance Francais in order to brush up on my rather pathetic grasp of the language in anticipation for working in Armenia. I'm not sure why but i thought the class was pretty easy... but then again my comprehension is, as usual, excellent while my actual conversation skill gives others the apparent impression that i have the mental quotient of a 10 year old French retard. *sigh*

Had dinner in the evening at KLCC with Chen Hoe and then went to Zamil's friend's birthday party at a serviced apartment nearby. Quite a few people were there and the first half of the night was, well, boring as heck. Not helped by the fact that Chen Hoe and i were being somewhat prudish i suppose... So what followed was this whole two hour conversation on confidence (or lack thereof), the inescapable discussion on the opposite sex and... well... mingling and being social creatures as a whole. What resulted was a promise between ourselves to be 'out there' a little more starting from that moment in time - a new attitude, a new leaf, a new start!

And that's when things got a lot more interesting... ;p

Really, its amazing what a change can occur once you regain that 'who gives a fuck' sense of yourself. And alcohol helps too i suppose... Anyhow, i won't bore you with the details but the pace and tone of our participation at the party changed pretty fast and then you KNOW you're having a good time. That, and before you know it, you're giving Zamil's lady friend of twenty years a looong massage, kissing the birthday girl, hearing Zam sing/puke, and... erm... generally meandering about in a quasi-drunken manner... Pretty sure i'm skirting over most of the details but i'd LOVE to hear Zamil's point of view (ESPECIALLY in his BLOG *hint, hint*!)... ;p

Stumbled home at about 6am and, yeah, that was my Saturday night...

Sunday: Can't remember too much about Sunday, either because of the night before or just because it was boring as heck i don't know. I recall having coffee with Joa and Jules at Coffee Bean and hanging around the Sunday market but that was about it... Went to watch the Dreamimage production, which was basically four short movies by young Malaysian filmmakers, with my mother at the Actors Studio in the evening. Will probably talk about it in a seperate post...

Er... and that was my weekend! :p
