Just came back from the city after meeting up with Zamil at Alexis in order to celebrate his 26th birthday with a small group of his friends - of course, i wished him well in his endeavours to be the first Malaysian Idol! Hope your birthday wish comes true! ;)

That, and a humble request for him to update his blog! ;p

Oh and for those who asked me for details on his singing career: yes he's still in both Akademi Fantasia and Malaysian Idol, and both will properly commence sometime next month... That, and he's gunning for an album of his own by the end of this year! Yowza

Oh, that AND i get 20% of the merchandise takings... ;p

Pretty lucky that i called him at that moment in the first place since i happened to be in KL at the time (dropped Selina off for her training thing - hrmmm, maybe you ARE useful to have around! ;p). Hehehe, ok bit mean there - she WAS nice enough to keep me company for dinner while my parents went off to swirl champagne gratis after all.

Amazingly, i also discovered from her that the whole 'rumour' about the ciggie companies paying substantial amounts, giving cars, and allowances to certain... er... 'influential' (aka cool) individuals in return for their promotion of the brand's image is actually true! Paid to party (and smoke)? Not to mention selling your soul to merchants of death? Awesome! ;p

I don't have a chance in hell, do i?

(that and at last count, my soul ain't worth much or is still owned by the maggi mee goreng hawker guy - can't recall which)

Did my weekly salsa with the ladies as well in the afternoon (doesn't THAT sound a bit off?), which was good... think i'm really getting the hang of it... Me! Dance! And actually enjoy it! Funky, and i still can't really believe that i'm still sticking to it. ;p

Oh well, another day for Pat - can't be too many more to go...
