On Hair0 commentsMood: Blur & tired. Which is kinda strange... Currently listening to: Champagne Supernova - Oasis *Belated entry* Busy day t'was! Made a doctor's appointment, signed up for the kickboxing (again - i intend to stick to it this time), did some other assorted odds and ends, and went to Svenson's hair treatment at the behest of my father who, and i suppose he should be one to know, continually has extolled to me about the benefits and virtues in having a full head of hair. Personally, i don't consider it overly important - despite the fact that it IS, indeed, thinning noticeably - due to the exhorbiant cost that's typically involved. Well, i was proved correct in this assesment since the price of the entire treatment, AFTER the 'doctor' had regurgitated one hour's worth of all sorts of unassociated facts to me, is no less than RM18,000. Ouchie. Still, he has insisted to which i feel that since i've made my point about the cost and he still wishes to go ahead with it i might as well. Still, the girls at the clinic were rather nice looking i suppose (curse their clever, primal marketing! ;p) and i got a free shampoo/treatment in the bargain. Think i'll look around at their reputation and competitors a little more first, though... Went home after that to change and leave for Lady Swettenham with my mother that evening. Traffic was horrendous (even more so than usual) with what seemed like half of the country leaving, at the same exact hour, for their long weekend holiday. Club was closed and, since we had little time thanks to traffic, we supped at a nearby McDonald's instead and chatted mainly about the going ons of my mother's friends and my brother. Oh, and that all this time she's forgotten to use her Friendster account... ;p Play was thoroughly enjoyable - much better than that blasted Hang Li Po musical. More tragic with a mighty poke at feminist issues, mental illness, and the stigmas associated by society (back then anyhow) on people - specifically women - who acted beyond the mould. Great stuff, and it helped that i got front row seats so that i could literally feel their spittle upon my face... ;p Went out with Selina and Chen Hoe at Sri Hartamas after that for some Maggi Mee Goreng at Bestari's and then some pool and beer at Breakers. Had a good time. Even more so when i *ahem* kicked their asses... ;p Although i'm sure they would argue against that moderate assesment... ;) Oh yes, HAPPY BIRTHDAY JANICE!!! ;)
