Mood: Bumming around

Well, here i am in uni typing a quick entry on one of the computers in the library lab. A VERY annoying computer with the dodgiest and slowest cable internet link known to man, as well as a keyboard with a half broken spacebar to boot. Argh.

Then, to top it off, i've just found out the the books i've borrowed have incurred a late penalty to the tune of RM14 each. So, 4 books X RM14 = RM56 (ARRRGGGGH!!!!). Didn't see that one coming so now, since my wallet's a little empty (and coupled with the fact that there's no ATMs within a 2 mile radius of this place) i can't even borrow the books which i came here for in the first place!

On the bright side i did manage to get some research done for my upcoming assignment so it hasn't been all bad i suppose. God bless photocopiers.

Currently determined that there's not much else i can do here now. Hankering for some coffee and reasonable company but it seems Selina's still asleep (*rolls eyes*) and Leonard is nowhere near uni. Typical.

Oh, what to do, what to do?

Considered working on my PERL and UNIX in the labs (there's only three small ones even remotely worthy of being called such things) but, as usual, they are all either severely overcrowded, have classes going on or are closed for 'maintenance' of some sort. Which leaves the library computers where right clicking has been disabled and where it takes 4 minutes 49 seconds (yes, i timed it) to load up Google's page (if at all). *sigh* Computing facilities here are woefully bad in comparison to Caulfield - so someone put in a complaint for me in Australia already!!!

*sigh* Of course the fact that i have not the slightest impulse in me to even properly do said assignments in the first place isn't exactly adding to my favour and i'm suddenly aware that my chances at graduating (for the third semester in a row) are quickly slipping away. And if my guess is correct, i'll be short - not by one subject, oh no - but by half (3 points) a subject *groan*. Call it a hunch.

And yet i'm not worried. In fact i couldn't even give a damn at seeing some semi-bright future (if even that) slipping away, yet again, before my eyes. And i don't really know why. And in some ways it almost feels as though i'm (un?)consciously manipulating myself for a fall which, when i think about it, i don't want to occur. Isn't that strange?

Or maybe i've just reached new depths of laziness.

Dammit, think i'll just go home now. :p
