Wow, this site seems to be on an upswing what with some new readers and all. Why now? Is it the weather or something? On the other hand, why is my mother debating pro-life and pro-choice abortion with me all of a sudden? And on a side note, why are so many people, even more as of today, i know having relationship problems at this time (you guys know who you are) - its like all the non-single girls in the world are spontaneously developing PMS!

Are all these questions somehow related? Hmmm... must be another US government/corporate/neo-nazi feminist/Al Quaeda/'insert your evil organisation name here' conspiracy of diabolical proportions. ;p

Busy day today. Went to the doctor and got prescribed a stack of sleeping pills, vitamins and another psychiatrist (his own wife no less). Fun. Kickboxing was off today, contrary to what the trainer told me last week so it looks like i start this Thursday instead of today... Can't wait to hit those bags! Teenage angst in my 20s, eh Boon? ;)

Went to Pyramid with my ma for a spot of karaoke but was out of luck since i got the prices fudged up and we couldn't lay claim to the RM7/hour thing since it was only valid from 12-3pm, so we've settled for Thursday instead. That, and i have this really strong, mysterious urge to sing Pretty Woman(!). Had coffee and crepes with her instead and then went to One Utama to buy some new Fila shoes for tennis and jogging. Also did some window shopping and ate at Esquire Kitchen. Mmm... fried dumplings. Good shit! ;)

Planning to slowly become a tasteful consumer whore. Figure i might as well start on that image change from scruffy sk8ter b0i wannabe to smart, dapper yuppie once some of that cash starts rolling in. Why? Beats me, probably has something to do with my current deconstructive/reconstructive tendencies (its in VOGUE people! ;p), but does anyone have any ideas as to what i should buy or where to shop? Quite new at all this i'm afraid...

New policy for myself - smile more! That, and try to act so bubbly that i'd put most teen cheerleaders to shame! Yes, yes, my overly cynical side is threatening to kill itself over this (wuss), but i figure... why not? I do feel a tad better when i do it what with the endorphins zipping to my brain, and the world brightens up a little more. All mind-warping illusions with similar affects to consuming dubious quantities of msg/drugs/alcohol, but what the hell - its worth a shot! Apparently people will dig me more, i'll have more friends, feel better, and be able to convince myself that there really isn't anything wrong with the world at large.

If ya can't beat 'em, join 'em. That, and its cool to be completely fake and in denial - look at MTV! I aim to be more plastic than plastique. Now all i gotta do is pluck a daisy, put it in my hair, and prance off into the sunset... hello you beautiful world, you!
