Yeah, yeah so i haven't exactly been blogging frequently at all but it always seems that each time i do try to sit down and come up with something i inevitably get sidelined by something - whether it be a fickle Machine God (why hast thou forsaken me this night? *sob*) or... other things.

That and i'm just not downright motivated in writing anything. *sigh*

Anyhow, i've been listening to this song for some time now (Change (In the house of flies) by the amazing Deftones) and i feel that it merits some mention here in my humble blog... Well, maybe not as a point of discussion but rather as a means for me to recall the lyrics or present it to all of you out there as a song worth hearing.

Well, i'm still sorta debating as to what it actually means, or refers to, and judging from various online forums this ranges from anything like watching a friend being destroyed by drug use, a woman being exploited/raped/losing her virginity, to a description of someone being a scheming, manipulative unrepentant bastard who doesn't really understand why he/she says or does the things they do. I like that last one best... ;)

But hey, my take on it is a little different. Namely the same one which this amazingly well done and very poignant flash video (done to this song) portrays as its interpretation of the song: Till Death Do Us Part by Brainwash Studios.

Spotted that video sometime last year during my random web surfing escapades and holy crap it was hard to find again... But so worth it!

Excellent clip, one of the best i've seen so far and with an important message to boot. I might just warn some people out there that it does portray violence and may be more than a little disturbing to some, and not in some mindless (yet imaginative) slasher-movie gorefest sort of way. No. Its disturbing because what it shows is not some horrible idle fantasy cooked up by someone's vivid imagination, but rather an issue that is all too often quietly taking place in society.

Watch it - its that good.
