Yeah, just a quick one before i submit to the inevitable and collapse onto my bed.

I happen to have one free ticket, courtesy of the Alliance Francaise, to the IxBE performance at 5pm on Sunday, June 6th (this coming Sunday for the slow ones out there) as part of the French Arts Festival. My mother had to pull out because of an unforseen dinner engagement at the embassy.

Here's how the magazine describes it:

This danced version of Extrabelle is not done with surprising you! The spectator - first astonished - is quickly charmed. He succumbs to this virtuosity which is going against the gravitation laws and is offering beautiful images to the eyes. Simon Anxolabere is doing incredible figures, following the logic of pure beauty, of silent enchantment. Beyond performance, IxBE is revealling the radiant presence of a young artist. His dancing with objects as well as his light ballets open the door to a universe full of naive beauty, mischeviousness and serenity... etc.

Basically, and to put it bluntly, it is 'artistic juggling'. ;)

Still, it comes highly recommended and, hey, its free! Any takers (here in Malaysia)?
