Fluffy: Destroyer Of Worlds

Mood: Getting... sleepy...
Currently listening to: My air conditioner

Meh, it was an all right Sunday i guess.

Pretty much the only notable thing i did was go out with Jules and Joa (geez, i think i've spent the whole weekend with these two) for some karaoke and lunch at Bangsar Shopping Center. It was good, despite the standard initial shyness which plagues all karaoke outings from the onset. Still, a slip into a few songs and the next thing you know, Jules is Mariah Carey (why???). Then again i should talk, i was the one singing Cher's Shoop Shoop Song as a dedication to Julian! ;p

But hey, it was damn fun - even though they stopped the song selection machine juuuuust before we managed to sing Aretha Franklin's Respect (heh, i'm the backup singer! You know how it goes people...). Had coffee at Austin Chase after that, and then proceeded to spend the rest of the day at home moving the aforementioned 30kg flowerpots.

And that was pretty much it.

Erm - time for some fillers methinks. Hey, does anyone else notice that ever since i discovered the glory/curse that is 'hotlinking' pics from the Net, i hardly ever reflect on myself or rant in this blog anymore? Weird, huh? Good thing too, i'd probably have jumped... ;p

Not to worry folks - my inherent megalomania remains intact. Hell i've even got a new sidekick - allow me to introduce you all to Fluffy: Destroyer Of Worlds!!!

lol! Ain't he the cutest thing? Couldn't resist not putting that one up...

Anyhow, moving on...

LEMON JUICE - THE SAVIOUR OF ALL HUMANITY

Just read this article which claims that, basically, by soaking a sponge with lemon juice and inserting it into your genitals (the woman you idiot! The woman!) one can prevent AIDS from being passed on. Of course its still being experimented on, but hey simple solutions are best right? ;)

A MELBOURNE scientist's discovery that lemon juice kills the AIDS virus in the lab will be tested on humans in Thailand.

The Thai Government will fund the trial, which will involve at least 400 Thai men and women.

University of Melbourne's Professor Roger Short made the discovery after he realised acids killed the virus.

When he put lemon juice in a test tube with HIV-positive sperm, the sperm were permanently immobilised within 30 seconds.

Experiments also showed a solution of 20 per cent lemon juice reduced viral loads in the lab by 90 per cent.

The lemon juice also killed syphilis, gonorrhoea and chlamydia.

Officials at the international AIDS conference in Bangkok announced the first human trial.

Hrmmm... and from Melbourne University no less. God, if they find the cure for AIDS there'll be no stopping their egos!!! ;p

Still, one should bear in mind that the whole reason why this experiment is being conducted in Thailand is because the Australian Federal Government banned it from being tested in Australia... so perhaps there's a little more to this than meets the eye?

NIGHTMARE WORLD

Managed to stumble across this site - Nightmare World - a while back, and i figured i'd share it with y'all (nice guy that i am). Its basically a collection of short comic stories all drawn and coloured by various webcomic artists on the Net, and managing to showcase each ones differing style while being coupled with storylines not unlike those classic Tales From The Crypt series which we all know and love - especially since they follow the same formula which consists of a pretty wicked twist at the end of each!

Oh yeah, and its free - so why not? ;)

Go waste some time today!

Damn, i have seriously got to update the sidebar, links and all! I've already read six books in the interim! Bit tired today though, but perhaps tommorow...

Ok, need to sleep now.
