Just For The Record

Mood: *yawn*
Currently listening to: Still nothing (*big SIGH*)

Ok, finally managed to get some time on my hands so i'm just going to quickly put an update on whats been happening this last week - just for the record. ;)

Erm... on a side note i'm having a tremendous amount of difficulty in recalling what i did in the earlier part of this week (alzheimer's becomes me), so if you know please help me fill in the gaps ok? ;p

Oh, and i'm gonna try and keep this brief. Not exactly in the best of moods today.

Tuesday: Got kicked out of bed at about 10am by Julian (he had just dropped Joa off at work) for a game of tennis, but (un)fortunately for us it rained which sorta relegated us to having lunch and discovering that wondrous time waster of a game, Vietcong (which was to feature as a recurring theme in my life throughout the rest of the week). He had to go pick up Joa later on and... erm... that's pretty much all i remember of that day. Weird, pretty sure i was up to something.

Wednesday: Hung out with Julian again, and this time we actually did make it to the gym. Shit, its been ages - i could barely manage one set!

*sighs and glances down at soft stomach*

Got called away to supervise some workmen in the penthouse, had lunch with Jules, and played yet more Vietcong. Salsa class was cancelled though, which was a real pity since it would have been the first time i'd be setting foot in the newly renovated salsa bar thats about to open at the Federal Hotel. Went for dinner with the parents and godfather at the Grand Ballroom of the Royal Selangor Club and then found myself at the cybercafe in the evening with the honest intention of updating the blog. 'Twas not to be though as some people were doing data entry on all the Net terminals in there while i seated myself down in their lounge to watch LOTR again while simultaneously tormenting/wishing the best of luck to Selina and Leonard for their exam(s) the following morning (suckers!). Met up with Chen Hoe in the meanwhile for some mamak, followed by his bloody introduction to Vietcong up till 3am in the morning.

Cybercafes are addictive. ;)

Thursday: Woke up at noon and rushed down to meet up with Zamil, Janice, and Dylan for lunch at Chilli's in KLCC followed by some coffee at Starbuck's after Chen Hoe had joined us (while trying to ignore Janice's psychotic shopping urges). Left with Chen Hoe at about 5pm and picked up Selina at Time Square and then went for a job interview for Marlboro at Menara Millenium, thanks to Sel.

Interview went all right - i just basically made it clear that i had no morals to speak of AND suffered from severe bouts of insomnia, which helps since all of the actual selling activity takes place at night. Apparently i'm supposed to act as some sort of chauffeur cum bodyguard to the sales girls during the night, and at RM250 per night it ain't such a bad deal IMHO. Hrmmm... a plentiful supply of cigs, something that will stave off my late night boredom, AND surrounded by a bevvy of good-looking girls... ;p

Met up with Jan, Zams and Dylan at Megamall for dinner and more coffee in the evening. Went all right (you can read more of the details at Zamil's blog), and i even got a furry toy cow to boot (thanks Sel), which i have now christened 'Isabelle'. She occupies a space on top of my monitor *scratches Izzy's nose contentedly*

Hrmm... thinking of starting up my cow collection again...

Dropped Sel and CH off at their respective locations and picked up Leonard on the way back to Sri Hartamas. Had mamak, played yet more LAN games (Vietcong of course) and had another quick drink with him on the way back. Even managed to convince him to go speed dating with me sometime this month! Now all i have to do is lasso CH into it... ;)

Dropped Leonard off, stumbled back home at 4am, and promptly went to sleep. (*whew!*)

Friday: Woke up at about 8am (*groan*) and went to KLCC to try and get my MyKad done. Unfortunately, despite arriving there by train at an early enough hour, they were packed to capacity and i was turned away at the desk *sigh*. Wandered around aimlessly for a few hours in a sleep-deprived state before meeting up with Joa and Jules for lunch, coffee and shopping at Megamall (Joa was down with the 'sniffles' and skipped work. Bad Joa! Bad!). Got dropped off at home, went to the club for dinner with the parents, and then met up with CH, Edwin, and some of the MUISS people at Matrix in Phileo Damansara. Had a beer, chatted about cows penises, and watched the pool sharks exchange money over their games. Buggered home pretty early after that and proceeded to collapse in bed.

Today: Might as well get this out of the way while i'm at it. Woke up early and went to KLCC for the MyKad thing again. No dice. Damned place was packed at 7am!!! *sigh* Sauntered back home, went to Megamall for the third day straight for lunch and shopping with the parents and my Godfather, went for French class (which was cancelled) and then just bummed around at home.

Urgh. Did i mention that i've been in a foul mood today? Don't ask. *grumble*

Anyhoo, better get myself prepped for tonight - have to meet quite a few people (in more ways than one) at 10pm. Wish me luck... *sigh*

My head hurts (again).
