Mood: A little down from not having the previous mp3 attempt work - lets try this!

Yes!!! Finally i've got it working, BUT i face the same ol' problem - namely that they only allow 3MB uploads (thus cancelling out most songs on my list) AND only allow 5MB of bandwidth daily, which is not exactly helpful with an mp3 file which is already 2.5MB in size... :(

So don't be surprised if you can't play the song - two other people might have done so before you and you'll have to wait for 24 full hours in order to listen to it again! ;)

Dammit, i need a more permanent solution... anybody want to help cough up RM20 so that i can get 3GB of monthly bandwidth for, well, a month? Aw c'mon... my birthday's next month and this whole issue of getting an mp3 playing on the site is beginning to border on becoming a full-blown obsessive compulsive disorder (as if i needed something else!).

Dammit, i'll just go get my seven grand per month in Armenia and fix that sucka for good then... *determination sets into Pat's face*

Tuesday:


Not much to say... hung out at uni, skipped my afternoon class, had lunch with Leonard while discussing our love lives (as always) and played some LAN games. Not a very productive day at all i'm afraid...

Went for Toastmasters in the evening with Chen Hoe, Kwong Heng (who will henceforth be referred to as Alvin) and Sneexe. Didn't get picked to speak this week but Alvin managed to tie some other guy for presenting the best table topic that evening - good on ya man! ;)

Parted with another RM15 in order to attend an evaluation workshop on Thursday at the Petronas tower in KLCC. I swear, there's only one bad point to having a very active club committee and that is undoubtedly the sad fact that i have to part with more of my money each and every time that there is a meeting... *sigh*

Hrmmm... on a side note, now that i've paid to become a full toastmaster i'll have to do my prepared icebreaker speech sometime soon with the topic having to be... well... me! What on earth should i talk about then??? On the other hand, perhaps i might even be able to get Chen Hoe (who has to give his as well) to talk about ME while i talk about HIM! Would be interesting eh? ;)

But is it viable? After all we're both so fucked up in our own ways that i'm very sure that there are still many things that are as yet unknown to the other despite the many similarities...

Ah well, something to think about.

Went for dinner near Low Yat Plaza and that was pretty much it.

Wednesday:

Another unproductive day. Woke up drenched in sweat at about 11am, bummed around on the computer and then slept through my afternoon class. I swear, my sleeping habits are even more screwed up than before thanks to this sickness that is currently ripping my lungs apart at 10 minute intervals... hell, i've (almost) sworn off cigs now! ;)

Stopped by Albert's place on the way back home to pass him the ticket for Spiderman 2 that Alvin forced onto me the day before. Stayed a while to chat with him, play with his combat sticks/batons, while surfing the Net for Speed Dating sites.

Yes. Such is life.

On the other hand, we did do a search for my name and spent some time reading some old testimonials from my old and now defunct website. They were written BEFORE we all discovered the wonder that is Friendster mind you, but i find a few of them particularly touching while Al was just laughing his ass off at the comments half the time. Bastard. ;)

Its my dad's birthday today! Oh, and if i forgot to mention it, my mother's was last week as well. Went to Greenview with two aunts and an uncle to celebrate with a LOT of food mainly of the crustacean variety (mmmm... steamed crustaceans) and topped off with four bottles of fine wine for six people(!). Heh, and i got pics! Mwahaha!!! Time for a little Boon related torture again methinks...

Well, sometime in the near future at any rate - gotta catch his stomach by surprise for maximum impact right? ;)
