*urgh* Ok, finally dragged myself out of my quasi-surreal slumber-like existence long enough to do an update... *yawnz*

Yeah, i sleep in the afternoons these days. Kinda like Sel used to. ;p

Lets see... its all a little hazy really:

Friday

As i recall i was pulling off an all nighter the night before and ended up chatting to Boon on Skype for approximately 6 hours straight as well as doing some maintenance work on his blog. Went to uni and that was when the day started picking up... First off my Monash computer account had been disabled due to some error down in Australia and, as is always the case, i happened to need my authcate in order to get my assignment done for the day. Monash being Monash they had apparently been sending my old Australian address threatening letters despite my address having been changed since the beginning of the year. After a few hours of manic bureaucratical struggles and a few phone calls to Melbourne i managed to get it back online - 20 minutes prior to the submission...

The second thing to happen to me was when i got a phone call from Andrei while i was on campus and we met up for... No, actually i think i'll put this one down in some detail:

(A = Andrei, P = Pat)

*over the phone*

A: Hey man! Guess what? You've been requested for an ad, so get your ass to the studio ASAP!

(note: Getting directly requested from your agency profile is a rare [for me] event - it pretty much means that the job is yours sans public casting, a DAMN good thing)

P: What? Aw man, i don't know i'm kinda busy here and i AM a little out of shape... er... amongst other things...

A: Doesn't matter - its 9k!!!

P: And i'd just like to... 9k??? Holy shit! I'm on my way! Errr... but maybe i should just mention...

A: Less talk more hustle!

*gets off the phone*

*a few minutes later at the studio*

A: There you are, you remember Along?

Al: Yo.

Pat: Hey wassup?

Al: Hey, nice undercut... ok, we'll need you to take your hat off though.

Pat: Er, yeah, about that, i was trying to tell you...

*Removes his cap, to reveal the fact that he is now as bald as a baby - shocked looks of astonishment from all present*

A: Wha... you... WHAT HAPPENED TO YOUR HAIR!!!???

Al: *in a state of shock*

P: Yeah well i was trying to tell you... Erm, i can still do this right? Right?

Al: Erm... i don't think so, we need hair for this one...

P: But... but i can wear a wig or something!

Al: I don't think so. [looking ever so peeved] And get your ass over to the studio for new shots of your new... 'look'...

P: *sniffle* No 9k?

A: No 9k.

P: *wails in despair while the photographer laughs his ass off*

So yeah... a bit surreal.

And what's the lesson of the day? Life. Its all in the timing... *sob*

Erm... fell asleep at home and missed Malaysian Idol and then went out for drinks and stuff with the gang (where and what exactly, i don't remember - come to think of it... did i even go out?) and that was pretty much my day.

Saturday

Stayed up all night again. Fell asleep at 10am. Missed French class. D'oh.

Met up with Albert, Chen Hoe, Alvin, Miyuki, Sneexe and some others that evening and we ended up going for mamak and some drinks at Orange in Sri Hartamas. Leonard's brother and Gib even managed to join us for the beers and we ended up taking advice from these two about their philosophies regarding the opposite sex. Very enlightening. I won't go into it in any amount of detail (for fear of being lynched by all the women out there) but the most important thing i picked up was this:

Girls who play Ragnarok Online(!!!) are easy.

Sunday

More sleeplesness.

Managed to catch the Malaysian Idol repeat at noon and managed to send of my RM50 of votes prior to the evening results show. Even managed to go to uni for a while and get some work done - bought Civ: Conquerors and Rise of Nations as a reward. Otherwise i stayed at home in the main, hovering somewhere between consciousness and sleep and watched the results show in the evening... (poor Zams)

Went out with Leonard and Kenny for mamak ('lunch' for me) and LAN after that.

Monday

Erm... a really unproductive day.

Tuesday

Spent most of it in uni and hung out with Leonard for the rest of the day. Slept at 6pm and woke up at 2am.

It is currently 5am.

Hrmmm... here's a few thoughts that are currently on my mind:

1. On Skype:

Wow, this Skype thing has really taken off now that i've mentioned it around. Leonard's on it chatting to Sue Lyn, as is Gib who has been going about shanghai-ing his friends as well once Leonard mentioned it to him. Boon's on it, Charlene's on it, my mother's on it and so is Bernard (the crazy Mauritian). Geez. Hell some of them even have reviews of it on their sites - not to mention shameless plugs for this here blog! ;p

Of course the greatest irony is probably that i'm hardly ever on it.

Come to think of it, i'm hardly ever on anything anymore. Actually, wait, i am - just permanently invisible. ;)

Bleargh.

I suck.

2. On the Sanitarium:

Yeah i've kinda changed the sidebar a bit, especially the contacts portion of it. Other changes should be forthcoming... if i ever get around to finishing it.

Geez, i just feel really bad that i haven't been updating frequently at all. I mean, even Chen Hoe is writing again! Which of course must be an inidication of hell having frozen over... ;)

3. On other blogs:

So yeah, i helped Boon a while back with his links and all that and i am currently working on Albert's one. Mainly just trying to provide some help and introduce them to the html code. Also in the works is a blog for Leonard and another for Bryon right after that... *phew*

Hrmmm... between blogger and skype i really think that they should be paying me at some point. Am i a catalyst of some sort? I forget the official marketing term for it...

4. On my hair:

Is fuzzy! Wheeeeeee!!!

(of course its also cost me 9k but, what the hell...)
