Aiks! Gonna have to make this one extremely quick - ever since the computer was moved out of the relative privacy of my room due to a leaking air conditioner it seems that everyone is trying their utmost to disuade me from using it for any extended period of time.

Ah, to live by oneself... *sniffle*

Then again, i'd probably just starve again. ;)

Another slow day today. Spent the morning emailing my CV to a couple of job ads that i spotted the previous week and met up with Ken and Gibran at the nearby Deutsches Bierhaus where i had the dubious honour of watching Ken stuff himself with their infamous pork knuckle. Went to Starbucks afterwards to chat and view the... ah... 'lay of the land', so to speak.

For my troubles i managed to get a nice smile from an attractive lady who passed by, although i did chicken out (as i always do with these things) at approaching her - despite the bottle of whisky that Gib put up as a wager.

Which was just as well, because - as it was later pointed out by my FATHER to ME, BY the lady in question later on that evening - she happened to be my father's SECRETARY.

All i'll say is thank Jeebus that, unlike my two compatriots, i was looking at her FACE the entire time!

Oy.

Such is my fate as a bitter, single... 'person' ('man', i feel, is a tad too strong) that i can only receive smiles from people who are almost professionally required to be nice to me as part of their job requirements.

On the bright side, she mistook me for my brother (wtf?). ;p

Argh, the annoying people are back... Ok, went to Sungei Wang by train with my brother to pick up his PS2 in the afternoon, lost to him at squash in straight sets yet again, and spent the rest of the evening playing Killzone and Pro Evolution Soccer.

Yes, life may currently be easy but its also extremely boring.

I. Need. A. Job.

Crap, everyone's suddenly trying their best to pry me out of my ensconed position in front of the computer - better comply...

Ok, so what have i deduced from today's post?

1. Leave country for ANYWHERE by 2005.

2. Swing by father's office more often... ;)
