Hello world - i'm back! :)

First off, joyeaux felicitations to Albert Tze-Hao 'Killing Machine' Lim for having thus far survived 25 years in existence as we currently know it without having yet killed himself or, for that matter, anyone else ('cuz we all know how hard that is - blasted 'legalities' *grumble*)! w00t!

Everyone! Go to his blog right now and post some well wishes! Make 'em as soppy and as touching as possible - he loves that! ;)

Well, the man is currently out with Alvin, Diane, Joa and company to celebrate at Zouk (of all places) and i'm just stuck at home since i've gotta drive my parents to the airport at six in the morning... *grumble*

Still, it IS Zouk so i doubt i'm missing out on too much... hope he takes my advice on the pick up lines for tonight! *wink wink*

Still, for those who are interested and who were unavailable to attend tonight (like moi, or a certain someone who is stuck in Ipoh) we're probably gonna do something a little less energetic tomorrow night - probably at his place, but you never know...

(Oh yes, a reminder to everyone that Zamil's birthday is this Saturday as well!!!) :o

Holy crap, i just realised that the last few weeks have been utterly meaningless in terms of my social life. :(

Aside from last Friday and Saturday night i have not done anything but work.

Addendum: Just for the record... Friday night was a great evening spent at Alvin's place with Diana and Al where we got to sample Alvin's current addiction - home made coffee! It may not have been the wisest thing for a severely exhausted and sleep deprived Pat [did not sleep night before] but, sweet Jeebus, this is the exact formula to make me one really happy camper:

Take one part all the shisha that i can smoke, combine with 40 Chicken McNuggets, mix with all the good lovingly hand brewed coffee that you can drink, and add a dash of good friends and good conversation! :) *contented sigh*

[for even better results, exhange the coffee for alcohol, and substitute the flavoured tobacco in the shisha with marijuana. WARNING: Results may vary! ;p]

Saturday night was just as good - went to Souled Out with Leonard, Al, Chen Hoe, Kwong Heng and Miyuki to [finally!] meet up with Huey Yee (NOT Huey!) and her group of friends for dinner, followed by drinks and dessert at Telawi Street Bistro in Bangsar where Kenny met up with us as well - and we got teh comfy sofa chairs! w00t! And, hey, i had a GREAT time! :)

Seriously, i've been incredibly busy for the last four weeks straight with work and uni and, as of yesterday, i've finally finished everything! To give you an idea of the stress i've been under, during the last four weeks i have researched, written, and handed in no less than six white papers/academic assignments for work and uni totalling a grand total of close to or greater than 12,000 words, two 30 minute presentations, and a bunch of assorted stuff which mainly consisted of Middle Eastern and Asian telecommunication market research for work...

*phew*

Thrill and exhilaration aside, i am DAMN tired right now... come to think of it, i didn't sleep Monday night. Or Saturday night. Or the previous Friday night. OR...

Gawdammit - with nothing major pending for the next three weeks i am going to seriously slack off for the rest of this week as a reward to myself! And the timing couldn't be better - tomorrow is a public holiday (thanks to an arab[?] guy who heard voices one fine day), my boss told us all to take the day off on Friday, AND my parents will be leaving tomorrow morning for Bali and won't be returning till next Tuesday/Wednesday!!!

Its been soooo long since i last wandered around buck naked in my apartment with nothing more than a top hat (gentleman's gotta have a top hat) and a bowl of green Israeli olives - peaceably watching (and laughing at) the world going by.

Actually, wait... i just remembered that the top hat is actually an ice bucket in the shape of a top hat... ah well, i'll just have to make do.

Hrmm... now where DID i put that monocle?

*whistles innocently*
