Well.

I HAD a post all planned.

It involved a recounting of my experiences of the past few weeks.

It required photos.

Photos that were emailed to me.

And which took me a grand total of close to five hours to download and then upload

(Thanks for taking the time to compress the damn things guys [/sarcasm]) ;p

I still can't sleep.

Its been like this for weeks - surviving on 2-3 hours of sleep a day.

Its driving me nuts, because i can't dream, and it makes me think too much.

This is not a good place to be.




*snaps out of reverie*

In the meantime though (mainly for the sake of actually putting up something interesting to talk about), those crazy 'more money than sense' sheikhs down in Dubai are set on building the world's tallest building in the next 3-4 years.

Although its a pretty naff topic - seeing as the good ol' Petronas Towers have already been relegated to 2nd place by Taiwan (with China [of course!] building an even taller one straight after) - i think the shocking part might be due to the fact that this tower in Dubai that they're building is going to be ALMOST TWICE AS TALL AS THE PETRONAS TOWERS.

Did you get that?

TWICE as tall.

Have you ever SEEN the towers first hand from a distance?

As i sit here in my humble penthouse home in Mont Kiara, i am gazing at the stirring (and incredibly smog soaked) KL city skyline. And while i am doing this, i am gazing upon the massive twin towers and my mind cannot BEGIN to contemplate a building TWICE its height standing in its place...

The very thought leaves me awed, slack-jawed, and bleeding from my ears.

Twice. As. Tall.

No. Fucking. WAY.

Ok. So maybe its about 300 feet short of being twice as tall but still...
