Bangkok Jazz

Hi all, apologies for the late post but... aw shucks, just be thankful that i'm posting again ja? ;)

Anyhow, this weekend's dining will be taking place at Bangkok Jazz (duh) - most of you have been there a fair bit for the music but i'm betting that almost none of you have actually eaten there before eh? I mean, think about it, a proper meal followed by some wine and jazz all in one very convenient location should make for a decent venue. From the website:

Bangkok Jazz Thai Bistro, a conceptual bar and Thai fusion appetizer bar that accords diners an experience that is captivating both to the palate and the eye, as well as To Dine For Fine Thai Cuisine, the perfect opportunity to experience some truly outstanding fare in a fine dining setting.

When we say "authentic" Thai fare - we really mean it. Each of our chefs hails from Thailand, and that's not all. The culinary team and even the waiters/waitresses and maitre'ds are all native Thais who take great pleasure in introducing the flavors of their homeland to eager clientele.Apart from the well informed and accommodating staff and glorious food, our restaurants are also unique in that each offers a distinctive environment, different from the other.

Well. Only one way to determine THAT... ;)

Anyhow, Leonard (as always) has kindly written up the details:

We're going to Bangkok Jazz this weekend. No no no, it's not a sleazy place (I've gotten the suspicious look before). In fact, it's rather nice there, and I do believe some of us have been to the bar side, and some of us have been back more than once, so it's not half bad. But I think most of us have never been to the restaurant side of Bangkok Jazz and we reckon it's a worth a try out. Check this review out.

Heading to the bar will be our after dinner event. It has little nooks for us to lounge around, snacking on Thai "Tapas" as we listen to the live music being played.

So as usual, the dinner will be held at Saturday 8:30, and if you want to come, please confirm your reservations with either Pat or myself (012-2077-653) by leaving a message on our blogs and we'll see you there. =)
