Hi all!

Thanks to Leonard's recommendation this week we'll be going Italian over at the Sheraton Hotel. Apparently he has it on good authority that this place is one of the best in all of KL - and, by the sound of it, so do the staff over at Fried Chillies. I mean, just LOOK at those pictures!!!

Standing five floors above the city streets, come here for the Wood Oven Baked Fillet of Cod and the Rack of Lamb with Mint Crust. Combined with the great ambience from the beautifully designed interior, what else could you ask for? Here's the low down...

You get to dine in a nice cozy little Villa in the middle of KL. The interiors looks like a creative cross of Italian and Roman design with its beautifully painted ceilings and the dimly lit settings. Just alluring to romantics and private conversations alike. Villa Danieli has a good range of appetizers, soups and pizza's but we just can't wait to tell you about the rack of lamb and the cod...

...The succulent and flavourful Roasted Rack of lamb with mint crust is one of the chef's specialty. It's one of our favourites as well. The hauntingly flavourful tender lamb has the rosemary sauce enticing us even more and also comes served with roasted potatoes. It's a superb cut. The lamb called us for seconds and we took the call in for that second experience....juicy, tender and succulent...

...Villa Danielli... great place.. high atop Sheraton Imperial, next to the swimming pool, under the moonlit terrace nice for a peaceful stroll after an evening italian dinner overlooking an Italian Villa.If the ex-Raffles trained restaurant manager is present, service is impeccable.

Oh, and for those of you who care, according to the review its approximately Rm50++ for a decent meal there.

Bar Blonde


Thats right, this week's after-dinner will be held at the nearby Bar Blonde on heritage row!

Offering a soft, relaxing atmosphere with an elegant and contemporary setting offering bar snacks ranging from exotic local cuisine and warm appetizers as well as a small but quality range of spirits, wines and soft drinks. Heck they even have WiFi... o_O

Dinner is on Saturday, 8:30pm as usual and, as per procedure, if you're interested in coming kindly either leave a comment here, email me, or phone me for additional details and/or bookings with details on which event(s) you are coming for and how many friends/mistresses/animals/Hell's Angels/family/etc you will be bringing. During the night itself the tables will be booked under my name.
